Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

  1. 4 tablespoons salted butter, plus more softened butter, for greasing the baking dish
  2. One 10-ounce bag white mini marshmallows
  3. 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  4. 6 cups fruit-flavored cereal rings, such as Froot Loops
  5. One 10-ounce bag rainbow mini marshmallows
  6. One 24-ounce package white almond bark

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly grease a 9-inch-by-13-inch baking dish with softened butter.
  2. Add the 4 tablespoons butter to a medium pot over medium heat. When the butter is melted, stir in the white mini marshmallows and heat until they’re totally melted. Stir in the salt. Remove from the heat and pour in the cereal, folding gently until it is all combined. Then gently fold in the rainbow mini marshmallows. Press into the prepared baking dish. Let cool completely.
  3. Melt the bark according to the package directions. Cut the treats into 12 pieces. Dip half of each piece into the white chocolate and place onto wax paper. Let set and serve.

My grandsons loved them. I made them a second time with blueberry Cheerios, those were a big hit with them too!

Another fun treat the family loved! And my kids love to help make these! I think the salt is a key ingredient! Great recipe for Easter/spring. Pretty dessert!

Mine Never hardened and are still tacky / sticky even after sitting overnight!  Should I just refrigerate / freeze them and take them out just before I serve them?  All of the other recipes like this one there do NOT use two bags of marshmallows……only one bag , and morefruit looks  that one bag.too.  How can I fix these?  II don’t want to throw them out.

Did anyone really include the salt?  Ree didn’t include it in the video.  Can’t imagine using salt in this recipe.  About to make it now for the first time.  🙂

This really is a great recipe. I put the cereal into the baking dish and poured the melted marshmallow mixture on top and mixed it together; that worked really well. I did still have to move very quickly, like Ree said.

A great recipe and so pretty. But Ree wasn’t kidding when she said move fast once you put in the fruit circles. And then the colored marshmallows.  I had to coat my hands and spatula with vegetable oil, cause it got too cool, and sticky doesn’t begin to describe what it turned into.

I would use a large pan also so you can stir all the ingredients together and still get to the melted marshmallow on the bottom of the pan to mix all the ingredients properly.
