Ingredients
- 2 cups pure maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan, bring maple syrup to a boil over medium heat just until syrup thickens. Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat eggs lightly with milk and salt.
- When syrup has thickened, reduce heat to low. Using a wooden spoon, drop spoonsful of the egg mixture into hot syrup. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until eggs are set. Immediately remove saucepan from heat and place it in a larger pan of cold water to cool slightly. Spoon eggs into serving bowls and drizzle with syrup.
- Note: Sometimes a teaspoonful of butter is dropped into the syrup before the eggs.

Reviews
hahaha its so funny i thoght i was the FIRST one to invent eggs with maple syrup. once when iwas eating Breakfast they put the pancakes and eggs right next to each other and i didnt feel like separating anything so i poured my yummy syrup over those tender hot cakes and of course it’s gonna fall right off of them and cover everything surrounding the ‘cakes in syrup. so at first noone noticed and i didnt say a word i thought it would kinda be gross but eggs are my fave so regardless of the syrup i HAD to eat them. so i did… and they were like so, totally AWESOME!! i LOVED THEM and now everytime i go i puposely pour it all over the eggs it make it stickier sweeter and warmer and it taste so good now i always add syrup or if unavailable honey to my eggs bcuz it gives it such a yummy distinctive sweet flavor that i ADORE!! Evry1 must try this. DONT KNOCK IT ‘TILL YOU TRY ITT!!!
