So smooth, like velvet chiffon cakes. Love it!

I didn’t use almond extract, this is because it is used for people who don’t like vanilla extract. The cupcakes turned out the same.

I liked how this cupcake was simple and easy, and it rose very easily in the oven. This to me is nice, but not the most important. The most important is the taste, And these were my results ; this recipe disappointed me in taste, and this cupcake tasted like coco powder. Unfortunately, I am not going to make this recipe again. It also was very dry. When I bit into this cupcake, I knew it would not be a hit right away. Then again they turned out looking great, and they were easy to get out of the pan. But over all, I am disappointed in this cupcake recipe. Therefore, I rate this cup cake recipe low : 2 stars.

This recipe is probably one of my favorites! I meant to make 16 as the recipe instructed but it made 24. I didn’t put any of the almond extract in them but they still tasted delicious. I would only fill them half full as they grow almost double the amount of batter.

I haven’t eaten these cupcakes yet, but they look delicious! I am waiting for them to cool and wondering what I should do for a frosting. I didn’t make any changes, but I did leave my butter out overnight to make it extra soft. This was a very easy and fun recipe, although the fun part might be just because I love baking… I noticed that some of my cupcakes puffed up more than others. I might have put more batter in those, but I dought that I didn’t mix the baking soda in well enough because my 8-year-old brother loves to mix, so I let him mix. He mixed for a full five minutes! My cupcakes cracked on the top, and I absolutely love the way that turned out. I don’t know what I did differently from y’all to do that, but whatever! They’re delicious! Thank you so, so much for submitting this recipe and I am sorry if my review is lengthy.

Came out pretty good. They were a little dry but I think that was my fault, I think that I baked them a little too long.
James Strickland
Very easy and it made a great cupcake. I only needed 12 so I mad a cake with the remaining batter.
