Ramen noodles need to be crushed and browned with the butter and almond mixture. The ramen season packet added to dressing makes it so much better.

This was so delicious! I couldn’t stop eating it. Loved the crunchiness. Definitely will be making this often.

I followed it 100%. It was delicious! This will be the go to when it’s hot outside. We didn’t miss the mayonnaise and it was so easy to make!

Summer fast, tasty and delicious. We added chicken to it and it was a meal by itself. Will definitely make it again.

This recipe is in a Canadian cookbook from 1988 and is called Killer Cole Slaw. The difference is the dressing, which uses the flavour packet from the 1 package of Asian flavoured ramen. 1/4 c veg oil, 1/4 c vinegar and the flavour packet. We add about 1 Tbsp of sesame oil as well as some sesame seeds to the toasted almonds and sunflower seeds (toasted w/o butter). It would definitely be healthier without the seasoning packet, but it wouldn’t taste right to me. It’s our favourite summer salad.

So good! I’m gluten free, so left out the Ramen, but with the toasted almonds and sesame seeds, the flavor was fantastic! Dressing was perfect balance. Thanks for the recipe!

This is very good! The crunch from the ramen noodles makes it even better. I’m glad the recipe specifies to leave out the flavor packets because that would have ruined it!

This is a great recipe. We didn’t put the flavor pouch in and I ate at least 4-cups of the slaw. We will definitely make again. It went vey well with the Bacon wrapped Jalapeño popper chicken recipe that I cooked to go with the slaw.

Rice wine vinegar & toasted sesame oil would be good for the dressing too.

This was excellent!! Easy to make and such a different twist on slaw. I’m obsessed with this. I’m going to add chicken to the leftovers for lunch this week. A keeper!
