Ingredients

  1. 1 cup almond milk
  2. ½ cup fresh papaya
  3. 1 scoop protein powder
  4. 1 (1 inch) piece peeled and chopped fresh turmeric root
  5. 1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger root, peeled
  6. 3 cubes ice, or as desired

Instructions

  1. Combine almond milk, papaya, protein powder, turmeric root, and ginger root in a blender; add ice and blend until smooth.

I used soy milk instead of almond milk for protein reasons and I upped my papaya to 1 cup because I needed to use it up. Smoothie came out nice, thick and delicious. Will make again.
