Not bad
We made it as suggested pretty much (only used 2/3 of a large banana because that’s what I had). I also used 5 large fresh strawberries – figured that was about 1 cup. First, it made a lot more than I thought it would so my largest cup for my Ninja blender was too small. It started leaking out of the top. So now I know that I have to use my real blender to make this unless I only do a half recipe. But aside from that, my teenage son liked it and he is a picky eater. I liked the peanut butter and banana flavor combination. Since it made so much, I had some of it as did my other teenage son. We all gave it a thumbs up! We will make this again.
I never have really loved protein shakes! But this one is good! I used 1/2 cup of milk and then a 1/2 cup of almondmilk instead of the 1 cup of milk
I made it with frozen fruit so i didn’t need the ice, and strawberry protein powder and it has a great texture and consistency
Made it with frozen fruit…. pretty tasty
Love it
I’m new to making protein shakes and my first attempts have been disappointing, especially in the texture – way too thin. This recipe is perfect in taste and texture. It’s thick like a milkshake should be, but not too thick, either. Love it!
I love this smoothie!! I eyeball the measurements and it works out well. It keeps me full and happy all morning too!!
Loved it. Super easy to make.
Great Taste after a great workout I love it so much thank you for adding this
I really like it but, it would have been better if I had fresh strawberries not frozen. I will make it again. I am having hip surgery and I need to up my protein.
Super easy to make, and delicious. I did half the amount of ice and used frozen strawberries to keep it cold but a little thicker. I swapped coconut milk for skim and almond butter for peanut. #cleaneats #allrecipesallstarscanada
I also thought this was an odd combination, but it’s delicious! My banana was frozen and I just skipped the ice. The strawberries are not a prominent flavor but they work here. I also used peanut butter powder and 2% milk. For my tastes, this needed a little sweetness, so I added a few tsp of honey, and it was just right. A healthy and very good smoothie!
It tastes amazing and kept me full for a long time. A great add on would be some almonds. 🙂
I wasn’t too sure about this. Mixing strawberries and peanut butter just sounded weird. But it was good. The only change I made was to use almond milk instead of skim milk. My protein powder is not pre-sweetened, so I did add some stevia to make the shake sweeter.
