Pineapple and Banana Smoothie

With dough prepared from wheat and instant potatoes, this lefse recipe creates a distinctive Scandinavian delight resembling a tortilla or pancake. Make only a third of the portion the first time if you’re a beginner lefse maker! serve in many capacities. A favorite is sugar, butter, or margarine. Some people enjoy this with cinnamon as well. In addition to thinly sliced fried sandwich meat, jellies are a great topping.

Ingredients

  1. 4 ice cubes
  2. ¼ fresh pineapple – peeled, cored and cubed
  3. 1 large banana, cut into chunks
  4. 1 cup pineapple or apple juice

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

Good, I added cran-apple juice instead of the other options due to not having anything else and it left a lovely tart aftertaste. I also added just a small bit of sugar to cut all of the sour. Could use just a bit more ice to help some of the frothing

really good!, i dont know if this is bad, but i did put some homeade iced foam into it, the two mixed together kind of clash, but the smoothie itself is amazing!!!

Delicious! I added a maraschino cherry, just for fun. This is a very large amount for 1 serving, so I would say it easily serves 3 if you like a smallish smoothie, as I do.

Easy and fast. Tips: use frozen fruit or freeze juice into cubes. This works great in the summer. Buy fruit in season and cube and freeze on sheet pan – single layer at a time.
