When a flourless banana pancake recipe I tried turned out to be mushy and challenging to flip, I came up with these banana pancakes without milk or wheat. Even though they don’t contain wheat flour, added sugar, or milk, they still turned out puffy and light like regular pancakes when I modified the recipe. Children also adore the faint banana flavor. Serve with your choice of butter and syrup.

Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Blend banana, eggs, oats, and baking powder in a blender until smooth, about 45 seconds.
- Spray a griddle or skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
- Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat as necessary.
- The kids in my household enjoy regular maple syrup, but they really love homemade strawberry or other fruit syrup with these pancakes.

I took the advice of others and put my oats in the blender first, then blended everything together. I added about 1/4 tsp of vanilla and a few dashes of cinnamon. I thought it was going to burn, but it didn’t! Turned out moist, and very tasty!
Yummy and my granddaughter likes it. I used 1/2c rolled oats. I also used 1/4 pumpkin pie spice. Might use a little more next time.
I read the other reviews and followed their advice to add 1/2 cup oats, vanilla, cinnamon and protein powder. Also threw in a handful of sultanas into the batter. Yum.
I used half cup oats as others suggested. Added vanilla essence. Just made one big pancake and cut in half. Healthy and delicious.
add 1/2c oat flour instead of 1/4c
I added cinnamon and topped with blackberries.
These are amazing! So easy and delicious! I add a little cinnamon just to give it a little flavor boost.
Really enjoyed these pancakes! I used an overripe banana, 1/2 cup quick oats, a dash of vanilla plus the other ingredients and cooked them in coconut oil. Mine turned out thin verses fluffy but I wasn’t expecting a normal pancake so I enjoyed them.
They were easy but didn’t have much flavor
I tripled recipe, 3 bananas, 1 cup oats, 1tsp Almond flour, 6eggs, 2 pinch salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/4tsp cinnamon added to blender. Mix until smooth. Add 1tsp vanilla mix in. Then scoop with ice cream scooper makes perfect size pancakes. Kids could tell it was banana but still ate them up.
I used 2/3 cups of oatmeal and let it stay for about 10 minutes Come out perfect!
Really easy to make and I was a bit nervous how it would taste but my boyfriend approved.
Love that recipe, so simple and really tasty!!!
Vey good alternative to normal pancakes. This just became our go to Sunday breakfast pancakes.
recipe was very ready to follow and came out great. I used coconut oil instead of spray, which caused a bit more burning. also I added blueberries to the mix. will definitely be trying again
I thought these were excellent for being dairy and wheat free! I sort of tripled the recipe and used 1 1/2 c. of rolled oats, 2 1/2 bananas, 1/4 c. of peanut butter, 4 eggs, 3/4 t. baking powder, 1 t. vanilla, 1/2 t. cinnamon, and some chocolate chips. I put the oats in the blender for a bit first, then added the rest of the ingredients (except chocolate chips) and blended until smooth. I stirred in the chocolate chips and then cooked on a griddle. They were good plain, but better with pure maple syrup!
I liked it better than other recipes that just had bananas and eggs. I liked the oatmeal for texture.
Great recipe :). I tried another recipe on here that did not have the oats and let me just say that the oats in this recipe makes all the difference!! I used 1/2 cup of oats like almost everyone that reviewed this recipe. I made perfect pancakes and you can’t even tell the difference!! Easy to flip & I even used the batter in my waffle maker. Great healthy recipe that my family enjoyed.
Very yummy! I added cinnamon and they were amazing!
Added more oats like a previous commentor advised, a quarter cup of pb, cinnamon, and a dash of salt. Super yummy with honey instead of syrup, kiddo loves it!
I am rating this recipe with proper expectations. It was a bit grainy but it had good flavor and it was fluffy. My family liked it.
