Fast easy breakfast. Added green onion and bacon crumble to egg plus a slice of tomato after melting cheese

So Good! I added bacon and ham, and it tasted like homeade Jack in The Box sandwiches! just wrap 2 pieces of bacon in 2 paper towels and microwave for 1 to 3 minutes. Highly recommended!

It’s very tasty. I really liked it. Used swirled rye bread for the toast. Super yummy!

Delicious! Used white American cheese.

Great but I made a few changes. I used liquid egg white from a carton and cooked them in a skillet. Then i added sauteed to the pepper, onion, and ham and folded them in. I skipped the cheese and the toast and served it on a plate. With Tabasco.

This is the easiest and quickest way for a great meal. Love the ease and cleanup is a snap.

Terrible. Microwaves are deadly with eggs. This one tasted like plastic, even with better cheese (cheddar). American cheese isn’t even real cheese

Here is a great variation – first, crack the egg into a small oiled bowl. Pierce the yolk one time with a fork. Place in microwave for 30 seconds at power 8 with a cover over the bowl. You will wind up with a microwave sunny side up egg! (Microwaves vary in power, so experiment with different cooking times and levels.)

Add a few spices and any cheese except American and it will be delicious. I’d toast the bread, then put cheese on and lightly toast again. Then you don’t have to use the microwave on the bread.

Very good!

Some dried chives added to the egg and then a slice of tomato amp it up a lot.

I added a pat of butter to the egg and some seasoning. Cooked on high in microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. Add the cheese to toasted rye bread smeared with butter, then microwaved for 30 seconds. Yum Yum. You can also add cooked bacon or ham before microwaving. Quick and easy and so much cheaper than take out.

As suggested spray bowl with Pam first to help with clean up. Since Egg takes the 1-2 min, when egg is done, put slice of cheese on it and while you are waiting for the toast to get done, the cheese may melt. If not, just micro the egg and cheese for 10-15 seconds and it will be melted. I use some of the pre sliced ham and use small amount. After putting egg and cheese on toast, put ham in bowl and micro for 10-15 seconds, place this on top of egg and cheese with last slice of toast. This helps eliminate or reduce the soggy toast when you nuke it. Yummy, talking about this made me hungry, so going to go make one now.

My husband has been making egg sandwiches this way for over 20 years. When he first made them for me I was very skeptical but wow so good. So easy to make. And very little cleanup afterwards. The only thing we do different is put a napkin over the bowl while they are cooking. Not sure if that really makes a difference but it’s how he has always done it.

Fast, easy, no pans to clean. Yummy!

Very easy and surprisingly yummy considering it’s made in the microwave

I had no idea how a simple egg sandwich could be getting such high ratings, but I made this and it was really good because 1) It wasn’t greasy like a fried egg sandwich so it seemed healthier and 2) I followed the instructions exactly and the cooking times were perfect for my microwave. The egg was really fluffy and the cheese melted perfectly.
