We didn’t flip it over properly, so ours came out a little more rounded than flat, but this was a fun, easy recipe to make with my four year old. She enjoyed helping to crack the eggs and flip it (with supervision).
A very simple recipe for those just beginning learning to cook. Be creative and add a pinch of cayenne pepper, garlic powder or paprika.
Great recipe for a beginner cook. I added salt and pepper to my beaten egg and it needed that. I also had a bit of trouble flipping it over as another reviewer mentioned so I’d probably cut back on the milk next time.
Simple and delicious! The whole family enjoyed this for a quick and easy breakfast-yum! Thanks for sharing
This is a nice quick little recipe and my kids now ask for it all the time. I added salt/pepper and followed recipe exactly. It literally takes 10 minutes and you can use any cheese that you prefer or leave it out completely.
An easy recipe for any beginner cook. No complaints!
Great beginner recipe to teach kids or adults some kitchen basics. My kiddo loves whipping these up on his own for breakfast. Sometimes he folds it up to fit it on his english muffin for a sandwich.
There was too much milk in these eggs. It was so soft that I couldn’t flip it over in one large piece, and I had to fold it over. I would use only half the amount of milk or just leave milk out entirely. They take longer to cook than stated.
Fun recipe. Wasn’t sure if the author intended you to flip the egg onto itself or over completely in the pan. I went with completely over. Broke up the cheddar slice into crumbs so they would melt easier and garnished with fresh snipped chives. Best to cook on low heat so as not to brown the egg.
PURE GENIUS !
So I sort of glanced at the ingredients and didn’t even bother reading the directions. I only had grated cheddar cheese and probably not even a tablespoon at that…gave it a pretty nice crunch. I didn’t even read that I was supposed to scramble the eggs with milk either but somehow it worked out.
Kind of like an unfolded omelet. As long as there’s cheese on top my kids love it!
This was a huge hit with the boys. I was able to make each one their own personal “egg flipped over” with their own favorite cheese. My husband said this is almost as good as an omelette! I served this with home fries and homemade vanilla-glazed chocolate doughnuts. Very satisfying breakfast for my three men.
This is tasty! Just one thing to remember, if you make more than one of them, turn the heat down a bit and add more butter. The first one came out way better than my second, but it’s a easy, tasty breakfast none the less!
Very easy and good. My daughter and I enjoyed eating these. I can hardly wait till she gets a little older and can start helping mommy out in the kitchen!!
Good, quick easy! Good way to get rid of eggs in the fridge.
Pretty good. I suggest salt and pepper
By my own fault mine ended up being scrambled eggs….very cheesy scrambled eggs. But it was very tasty!!
Great recipe! I add just a bit of both onion and garlic powders. Perfect on an toasted English muffin with a slice of Canadian bacon!
A great recipe for a beginner cook like me, I liked it and I will cook it again! Next time I’ll think of what other contents I can put in extra.. Thanks for the recipe!!
Easy easy egg and cheese omelet. I used a slice of american cheese instead. My son used swiss on his. Yummy!
