Without adding any butter or brown sugar, this is a fantastic way to spruce up basic instant oatmeal for those finicky eaters!

Ingredients

  1. ¾ cup water
  2. 1 (1 ounce) packet plain instant oatmeal
  3. 1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
  4. ½ banana, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine water and oatmeal in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 60 to 75 seconds. Remove from microwave, stir, and let sit for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add peanut butter to the hot oatmeal and stir until completely mixed. Top with banana slices.

I only had creamy peanut butter so I chopped 1/2 tbs peanuts and added those. I also added a pkt of Truvia and a bit more peanut butter. Very tasty. Thanks for sharing your redcipe.
