This is the best oatmeal I’ve ever had! The nutmeg really gave it a strong but pleasant taste, and the sugar gave it the perfect amount if sweetness. I will be making this regularly for breakfast!
1 teaspoon of brown sugar and 1 cup of milk made perfect taste and texture for me.

Yum! I added 1Granny Smith Apple peeled, cored, and in 12- inch dice. I also doubled the cinnamon and did half regular sugar and half brown sugar. Served it topped with chopped walnuts. I will use this again! I did not feel like it lacked flavor.
Perfect, just like my mothers makes it. I added a bit more cinnamon as well as banana but other than that it was amazing.
Delicious! Perfect oatmeal. Nice and light, with just enough flavor. I made it according to the recipe, but substituted unsweetened plain almond milk for milk. Next time I’m going to try adding 1-2 tsp cocoa, as one reviewer suggested, and then possibly try sweetening with honey instead of sugar.
