Crunchy Sugar-Free Granola

Me and my spouse, who both enjoy spicy food, really enjoyed this Spanish diablo chicken dish. Although there are fewer calories, the dish has a flavor comparable to Buffalo wings. It is also possible to chop up the leftover chicken and serve it with salad leaves.

I’m not sure what happened here. I followed the directions exactly, but it is now 60 minutes in, and I’ve had to increase the temperature from 225 to 250, and it’s still nowhere near crispy. There really is no flavor either. Just tastes like hot oats. I have upped the temp to 350 and will see what happens. My oven is new, and have had no problem with other recipes. I’m not a sugar junky, and always looking for no sugar solutions. Update: I baked for an additional 10 minutes at 350, and it is now better. It is crispy, though still lacking much flavor. I think the temp in the recipe may be wrong, and should be at least 300 for one hour, and just watch to make sure nothing burns. The nuts and seeds need to get some browning to develop their flavors. 225 just isn’t hot enough to do that.

This is excellent. It seems some people think sugar free means you should use natural sweeteners such as honey. NO! Honey is high in sugar, sugar free means using as little or no sugar. Diabetics aren’t supposed to consume sugar regardless if it is honey, agave, or any form of carbs. Some amount is unavoidable, but the goal is to sweeten with as little as sugar as possible.

I love this recipe! Not only is it easy to make and sugar free, it tastes really good. I followed the recipe exactly the first time I made it, but have since added pumpkin seeds and hemp hearts for more omega 3s.

This was perfect! I added a little honey and some raisins for sweetness.

Its a really good base recipe for the granola. I changed the mix ins with some other nuts and dried fruits. The ratios are all very good and i will totally be making again. Because it has no added sugar its good served with some fresh fruit

Really good and actually sugar free! No added honey or maple syrup or anything. Very easy to add extras, like flax, as well

This is a great recipe with NO sugar or fat! You can add all your favorite nuts and some dried fruit. I also put 5 drops (equal to 5 teaspoons) of liquid Splenda in the egg whites. It turns out so crispy and nice!

I left out the coconut and added a little more cinnamon as well as a drizzle of honey before putting in the oven. Overall, it was decent for a sugar-free granola.

REALLY NO SUGAR thank you for actually posting a no-sugar granola with NO SUGAR!! It works well for me, I add whatever I have and use a generous handful on my shredded wheat every morning for a true NO SUGAR option!
