Excellent recipe; straightforward and basic, which allows room for some experimentation – but the basic recipe outlined here results in the Banana Pancakes that I was looking for. I add a half tsp of vanilla extract and a dash or two of cinnamon; I also put blueberries in the Cakes as they are on the griddle. ‍ chef’s kiss, my favorite breakfast. (also, if you like bacon, cook bacon in the pan and use the grease to fry your pancakes for an extra delicious {albeit greasy} crust)

I would use self rising flour for this recipe it smells wonderful

Delicious! Served them with banana slices i sauteed lightly in butter with brown sugar sprinkled on top.

This is an excellent recipe, as is. A couple of interesting variations: 1) Substitute buttermilk for regular milk; 2) After pouring batter onto the griddle, sprinkle the top with some chopped pecan pieces. The taste of the pecans goes wonderfully with both the banana and the maple syrup.

My family and I loved this. We made homeade caramel sauce for on top. Delicious

Delicious! No changes. Also, very easy. I served them with blueberry compote, maple syrup, and spicy andouille sausage.

Kids love them during sleep overs. I have used this recipe at least ten times

Great taste and easy to make. I’ve never made this type of pancakes before but they turned out delicious. Also they’re very filling as I was full after just 2 🙂 Love it!

I added vanilla, cinnamon, and strawberries. Mmmmmm, mmmm good! Frozen bananas make it more moist, just cut down the milk a tiny bit. I also used Kiefer instead of milk.

These are great with a couple adjustments. I added a splash of vanilla, and also a handful of oats – that helped add some fiber and keep them from being mushy. Our family also likes ‘toppings’ – sprinkling some chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips while their cooking is always a hit. The pecans add a great texture and flavors compliment well. Yum!

Very slimy and mushy. Left them to cook more u til they burned and they just stayed mushy.

I had to write a review because I never checked a recipe more accurate with ingredients. Did it & we loved it. My bananas are not that sweet so we use sweet jam with it & was AMAZING❤️❤️❤️

simple, delicious, amazing.

I did add a touch of vanilla and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. I think keeping the batter size per pancake to 1/4 cup was perfect. I topped them with sliced strawberries. Definitely a keeper

My boyfriend did not like it.

Easy to make and delicious. I added just s drop of vanilla which enhanced the flavor

I have made these for years. I do not smash the bananas. Much better if you slice them thin. Also for an extra treat add chopped pecans.

These are not pancakes…maybe fried banana thing!…not a pancake!

I love this recipe it is so delicious and easy to make. When I make it I usually mash the bananas first in the bowl to use less dishes. It is perfect also if you add cinnamon and turmeric it makes it more flavourful, and it’s amazing with maple syrup.

I had extra bananas and I didn’t want them to go to waste The process was quite easy, although admittedly I skipped the baking powder and added one more banana than what the recipe said. I think my main mistake was me skipping the oil completely and replacing it with butter. All of the pancakes except the first two ones stuck on the pan and left burnt pancake remains. Other than that it was quite a tasty recipe which I’d recommend everyone tries
