I have the master chef bread maker . I would mash the bananas next time . I added cinnamon and a splash of milk maybe just less than 1/4 cup after reading some reviews it was dry. I baked for 65 minutes ( 1 hr bake time pressed bake again and just stopped it after 5) it makes a cute little loaf . Next time I may add some apple sauce instead of milk because seems like lots of sugar for the small amount of bread but otherwise good first banana bread recipe in the maker . If you want an easy bread with less dishes or when you are busy to have the oven on . Otherwise make your normal oven recipe.

I like it and it is good and it’s my first time making banana bread in the bread maker. It didn’t come out very well but It’s good. Caroline Adams

It took a little longer baking time.

Dry, my machine doesn’t have the option to stop. It didn’t bake all the way on the light crust setting, had to put it in the oven for 20 more minutes at 350. I’ll make french toast with it.

A bit dry, not a typical bread loaf. More of a dry cake. Had to add half cup flour as mixture is gooey.

Cake with a crust. I forgot to consider how sweet americans make everything! As is, not suitable for the old Sunbeam Cool Touch Bakehouse bread-maker. After the recommended 5min mixing I had to scrape around the pan to pull in dry ingredients. My very soft bananas didn’t break up sufficiently so I have gooey banana voids throughout the “bread” that look very unappealing. Edible though… with enough butter or maybe cream cheese to cut some of the sweetness.

Thanks for this. It was super easy. I cooked for an extra ten but probably only needed an extra 5. Much easier to cook than the one I do in the oven which never seems to bake consistently. Looks lovely too.

very good tasting bread love the flavor added a little sugar on top of bread while almost cooked

This recipe was easy to follow and was delicious. I used a 1/2 cup of sugar instead of the recommended amount. Because the bananas were overripe, the bread was pleasantly sweet. I would highly recommend this recipe.

Do NOT use the bread machine to mix this. Just mix it by hand. I mixed it for twice as long as the directions say and also scraped down the sides multiple times and mixed up the batter. The loaf was filled with clumps of unmixed flour. Next time I’ll mix it by hand then bake in the machine.

I used self rising flour instead. I’ve made three loaves of it so far because it’s great. I’m using my own Apple bananas I grow on the wet side of Maui. This bread keeps well in the fridge. I just now toasted a slice and put lilikoi butter (passion fruit) on it – simple but wonderful.

It was ok, but doesn’t taste like bananas. I even added an extra banana because of what the other reviews said (being bland) I also added a tsp of vanilla, and cinnamon, and still it is incredibly bland. This was the first time I have made it in a bread maker, I always do mine in the oven. I don’t really understand the other reviews raving about it. Sorry, but I won’t be making this again.

If you are a beginner with a bread machine – the ORDER of ingredients makes and definitely breaks the end result -liquids first ALWAYS !! Putting the ingredients in order of the way it goes into the machine is NECESSARY
Brandon Dillon
Wonderful! It’s so easy and comes out perfect every time I make this.
