Air Fryer Breakfast Frittata

  4.5 – 53 reviews  • Frittata Recipes

A delicious and incredibly simple slow cooker meal, this Thai chicken will please the whole family. If you prepare this dish in the morning, it will be done by the time you arrive home. Add only your preferred rice. In this recipe, chicken thighs work better than chicken breast because breast flesh dries out in the slow cooker and because they are less expensive. This recipe is not overly spicy because the hot salsa’s heat decreases during cooking. You might even want to offer hot sauce as a dipping sauce.

This recipe was a help to start using my air fryer more. I would increase the number of eggs to 6 and add some milk or cream.

I used a reusable silicone air fryer liner. I didn’t have the exact ingredients so I used 1/2 c. chopped mushrooms, 1 tsp. chopped green onions and 1/2 c. cheddar cheese and air fried for 17 minutes. The top was a bit dry but it was cooked through and delicious! I may still use the oven during cold weather but for warmer weather this is great so you don’t heat up the kitchen! Thanks for sharing!

OK ………… I’ve made this 3 times before submitting my opinion / review. This is delicious as written, but I made some changes tonight I think are worthy of consideration. 1/2 pound of Jimmy Dean’s HOT sausage 6 eggs Same amount and type of cheese. onion, and pepper 1 tsp. chopped jalapeno Preheat airfryer at 360 for 3 minutes then cook at 360 for 15, shut it off and let it sit for 5 minutes. Beautiful meal

Needs hot sauce or a little more seasoning.

This is a good, basic recipe. But depending on the size and shape of your air fryer you cannot preheat first and get your pan in without spilling egg mixture all over. I have a Cosori air fryer. It is square shaped. The round cake pan insert almost touches the sides. You really cannot lower a little pan into the basket without burning your hands. And doesn’t work well to wear mitts, because there’s just no space to get your hands in there. Turns out completely fine without pre-heating. ALSO This cook time is way off. At 360 the frittata will be completely done in about 6 minutes.

This came out very well on the first try! I changed up some of the ingredients (omitted onion; added mushrooms), and it came out great! I even made single-serving ones, and they were awesome too. I’m going to continue experimenting with different meats, veggies, seasonings, et al to see what else there is to enjoy with this basic dish.

Great recipe! So quick and easy! You could chop the vegetable the night before and through it together in the morning. I used Jimmy Dean pre-cooked sausage. But you could use ham, bacon or meatless sausage. The combinations of vegetable and meats are endless. It even looked pretty. Keeper!

I made this for one person so I halved the recipe.I did not use sausage. At the halfway point my frittata seems quite dark. It was done in 9 minutes!

So easy and you can add different fillings to make it your own.

LEFTOVER USE ALERT! Awesome recipe. I added leftover yuca fries. You can also use any left over fries like tater tots, or those fries you didn’t finish from dinner out last night! Chop them up and place at the bottom. Then follow this recipe.

So easy, perfect, and can easily be changed for what you have on hand. Thanks!

Main issue is that I just watched the video before making as pretty simple. The video says 180 degrees without specifying and I assumed Fahrenheit. Then afterwards I read the recipe and it says 180 degrees Celsius. Should have been noted on the video.

Only change–you can ruin nonstick pans with spray on oil, so I just used canola oil and wiped it on. This is a fantastic recipe! I would add a bit of paprika next time to try that out but I loved it!

It turned out great should have doubled the recipe serving 2 growing boys

Very tasty and easy to make.

I used 6 eggs, subbed chopped cooked bacon for sausage, and baked in an 8″ cake pan for 20 minutes at 360. We loved it! This made a great early dinner for the two of us with leftovers for later. Thank you for the tasty recipe!

I made it just a little different with avocado on top. This slid out of the pan perfect. I did take a photo but no clue how to load it. I haven’t cooked in years this was great and easy

Added some mild salsa, mushrooms and onion. The only problem was it didn’t take any more than 10 min. to cook and I couldn’t get it out of the pan even though I had sprayed it. But, I just scraped it onto my plate and enjoyed it very much!

I have made this dish several times. It makes a delicious, healthy, quick meal. My only issue I have had it getting the middle of the Fritatta cooked all the way through.. I would appreciate any suggestions. I do love this Fritatta!!!
