So easy and so yummy. I set the bread machine on dough cycle. After that, I remove it, shape it into a loaf on a lightly floured surface, put it in a greased 9″ loaf pan, and let it rise again. 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes. I find cooking it in the oven makes the texture lighter. I like the fact that it doesn’t ask for powdered milk like some of the bread recipes do. I never have any on hand. This recipe also works good with fast acting yeast. Thanks for the delicious recipe.

I was buying Sara Lee “light” bread for my weight watchers plan… and it didn’t have any mold a month later… I don’t see how that is healthy… Then I found this recipe and have made it several times. It’s perfect every time and delicious! And I know it’s so much healthier for my family! I’ve used agave instead of honey and evoo instead of veg oil. It’s just a perfect quick bread!

This bread is great!!! I was having a hard time finding bread in the stores a few weeks ago, so I had to break out my bread machine and found this recipe. I used the dough cycle then baked in the oven at 350 for a little over 30 minutes because my bread machine bakes loaves in an awkward “block shape”. This bread worked perfect for sandwiches and for grilled cheeses. Although bread is available in stores again, I haven’t bought a single loaf since. We’re hooked on this bread now. Super easy, too.

This bread is delicious! The only thing is that there is no way there is 32 calories in one slice of bread if there are 12 slices of bread in this loaf. With 3 cups of bread flour alone it is 1483calories per loaf. That would be around a minimum of 123.58 calories per slice in bread flour alone!

Warning, this is not 30 calories for a 1/12 serving. It’s actually 140-146 calories.

This bread tastes great

At another reviewer‘s suggestion, I used butter instead of oil and this turned out very well in my bread machine.

This bread recipe has become a mainstay at my house. We absolutely love it. I usually use butter instead of vegetable oil but either way is really good.

I felt the bread had a thick hard crust. This is true, especially at altitude. Even making the recipe adjusted for altitude, the crust was very hard. I think I will move on to a different recipe.

I made this exactly as the recipe calls for and it turned out great. I have made 3 loaves in two days. My family loves it.

Used olive oil as the vegetable oil. Bread came together well in mixing phase and the result was a very nice loaf.

What size loaf should I set the bread machine for?
