I did not have muffin cups, and I did not want to bother with topping, added a few pistachios on top Good recipe for a coffee side with very few ingredients
Scrumptious and simple!
Used base to make a bunch different flavors.
The flavor and texture were fantastic. This was actually my second time making this recipe and both times nobody could keep their hands off them!
We love these little gems! I have made them as written twice. I think next time I make them I will make half without sugar coating. I like them without!
I did change a few things. My husband is pre diabetic so I changed the sugars, I did not add the cinnamon & nutmeg to the batter, instead I added some vanilla extract, &. Then just dipped in butter & rolled in cinnamon sugar mixture. I think they were very good. The possibilities are limited by your imagination.
I have made these several times since I got the recipe. These are a winner for snack time instead of cookies at our shuffleboard games. Too good for us to make any changes. I do use a 2 Tablespoon cookie scoop that makes them all perfectly the same size. Yield: 20
Made exactly how recipe was written. My 13 year old daughter helped. Easy, light and delicious. Will make again.
So easy to make with my daughter. Lots of fun and tastes great!
Very yummy! One thing I found missing in many recipes is to be sure and flour your pans after greasing them. My puffs stuck to the pan but still tasted great. I used very old nutmeg. Does it always have a strong taste?
Nutmeg is not good for this recipe, way to powerful for such little cakes
Ok Mml
Yes , very good and will change for all cinnamon. The nutmeg is good too!
Very tasty treat. Will definitely make again but with a tad bit less nutmeg.
Nothing like a donut. Won’t make again. Kind of boring.
Family enjoyed the cinnamon flavor and the puffs are so very tender and moist.
excellent quick little donuts.. made mine in mini tins.. so they are more like Tim-Bits.. very delicious and not deep fried for everyone’s benefit , might just do a little less cook time.. next go. But my first off was very good and should be a big hit with the Grand kids .

I MADE THESE TODAY AND THEY ARE LIGHT, FLUFFY AND DELICIOUS. MY HUSBAND ISN’T INTO SWEETS SO I WILL HAVE TO EAT HIS SHARE…OH DARN….LOL
Not good??
I followed instructions & thought they were one of the best recipes ever. I will make them again & again & again.
