After receiving my waffle iron, I experimented with numerous Belgian waffle recipes. In the end, I created this dish by fusing my favorite ingredients with those that my spouse like.

Best waffle recipe out there!
Didn’t taste very much like cinnamon with just a pinch, but still tasted good
These turned out awesome! Followed the recipe as posted.
These were delicious! Light and fluffy and crisp when fresh. They get limp very quickly though, so you can’t let them sit out for any length of time. You have to eat them right out of the griddle. I substituted powdered milk and vinegar and baking margarine and it still was amazing!
Takes quite a bit of time but it was worth the wait I loved it. The egg whites made it nice and fluffy and it was a great waffle.Overall the waffle was great, would definitely make it again.
The batter was a bit too dry so I added some buttermilk before folding it in the egg whites.
This is the best recipe for waffles I have ever tried! I have made it with buttermilk and by adding vinegar or lemon to the milk as a substitute, and it’s delicious either way. I do increase the cinnamon to about 1 tsp, just my preference. I haven’t separated the eggs, so I don’t know if that would make a difference, but I can’t imagine them being any better. Even my picky grandson asks for more!
I’ve never reviewed a recipe before, but these waffles are so good! I have an extra-thick waffle maker so needed the waffles to be light and crispy. These are perfect and delicious. The only change I made was to increase the vanilla to 1 1/2 tsp. For my waffle maker, 5 1/2 minutes is a good cooking time. I added a photo of the bananas foster waffles I made this morning. Yum!
This is my go to waffle recipe. If I don’t have buttermilk I just use soured milk (1tbs white vinegar to 1 cup milk). I used 1/2 tsp cinnamon and it was good, but I’m going to try 3/4 tsp next time. If cinnamon is in the name it should be a standout flavor. My kids ask for these all the time!
Solid! Made it with gluten free 1 for 1 flour.
I will never use premixed again. Turned out perfect. I used 1/2 tsp cinamon. Waffles browned mice
This is my go-to waffle recipe and I make waffles 1-2x per week. I usually skip the step of beating the egg whites separately and never use buttermilk or bother making the substitute. I love sneaking healthy food into my kids so I replace about 1/4 of the white flour with oat flour and add 1/8 c pumpkin purée. For adults these are amazing with almond slivers sprinkled on top before closing the waffle iron and pomegranates sprinkled on top at the table. Enjoy!
Absolutely love! They came out perfect. I little crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I ended up adding sliced bananas, Nutella and whip topping. You would have thought it was made in a restaurant. I was so excited to eat it I forgot the walnuts lol
It’s delicious and fluffy. I doubled the recipe and added extra vanilla and used sour milk instead of buttermilk. Even doubled I had no leftovers, my kids tried to eat all of the waffles. I think I may triple the recipe next time because it just didn’t make any leftovers and they were fighting over the last one.
Loved it just the way it is, I usually have to triple the recipe for my family. If there are any left I just freeze them!
Delicious. Tasty, light, crispy goodness.
EXCELLENT waffles. The best I’ve had. Be sure to double the recipe unless you are just cooking for 2 people.
Really easy & Simple to make and tastes amazing! Will definitely make some again soon!
Pure awesomeness!! Yum!!
My family’s review gave this recipe 5 stars. I didn’t have buttermilk, so I squeezed a little lemon into the milk and I used Presto flour. The waffles are fluffy and tasty. It’s an easy recipe to follow.
looks great.
