Total Time: 35 mins
Servings: 20
Yield: 20 small rolls

Ingredients

  1. butter for greasing
  2. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  3. ½ cup white sugar
  4. 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  5. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  6. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  7. ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
  8. 2 teaspoons milk
  9. 1 (10 count) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  10. ¼ cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter the bottom of an 8-inch round or square baking pan and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
  2. Combine white sugar, cinnamon, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix filling well.
  3. Combine confectioners’ sugar and milk for glaze in another bowl until well mixed.
  4. Separate biscuits and roll or punch down each one until flat. Coat with melted butter and sprinkle each with filling mixture to coat. Roll up each piece of dough and cut in 1/2, placing each cut-side down into the prepared pan, yielding 20 pieces.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until biscuit portion on top of rolls begins to brown, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and glaze.

It was wonderful. I use Hawaiian sweet bread flaky biscuits and made a whipped cream cheese icing instead

I was kind of skeptic at first when I read the recipe, but when I made them. Oh my word I was pleasantly surprised and so was my household! I will definitely make them again. easy easy recipe but it doesn’t taste easy. Rebekah L.

I made these I changed the recipe a little bit by adding crushed walnuts to the mixture as well as on top after I glazed them I cut down on the glaze a little bit because I didn’t want too much sugar they are delicious I will definitely make again

The rolls didn’t quite cook through even though I baked an extra 5 minutes. Also, I increased glaze by a half and it still wasn’t enough. Family loved them; will make again but bake longer and double glaze recipe. Also added 1 T. butter and 1/2 t. vanilla to glaze for flavor.

Wonderful recipe. The whole family participated. We added butter on top after baking.

It came out SO very good. My wife and I loved them! I used an 8 count Grands Homestyle can of biscuit, so they came out quite thick, but SO very good! I highly recommend doing what other reviewers also said, regarding doubling the glaze recipe. It is completely worth it! I ended up using an extra teaspoon of milk to get a better and smoother consistency, but even doing so did not sacrifice the thickness or texture! I think it made it a bit easier to get an even spread over the pan-load.

These were tasty and so easy! I did have to bake longer but that could be my oven. I would also double the glaze!

Great recipe. These rival Cinnabon’s. I am a little more generous with the glaze because that really gets them gooey.

I followed this as written. I loved that they were easy to make and small. I did use flaky biscuit dough and rolled it rather thin. Enjoy! They are addicting!
