This pesto is ideal for tossing with hot spaghetti for a quick dinner because it is flavorful yet light. Additionally, it tastes great spread on warm French toast or used as pizza sauce. The abundance of summer basil can be preserved by freezing it.

Great tasting tortilla strips. I used a pizza cutter to quickly cut into strips. I also added salt in case I wanted to eat a few as snacks.
Thanks for the recipe I just love it !
These were fantastic and much better than frying the strips for soup! Loved the use of avocado oil and the amount of oil to strips was spot on. My bake time was a little longer and more than likely due to different ovens, which isn’t a big deal. It probably only took about 5 minutes more total. I just kept an eye on the strips and let cool as directed. Definitely going to be my one and only go to recipe for the strips! Thanks for the recipe!
It turned out great thanks
I used kitchen scissors to easily cut these. Came out great but unfortunately did not have avocado oil. I used canola oil.
I made them! I used canola oil and cooked them in the air fryer, I put them on a paper towel to get the grease off and sprinkled with Carne Asada seasoning that I read from a tortilla soup recipe, they were amazing, My husband even said I could stop buying tortilla chips at the store and just make these. That’s probably not gonna happen.
I loved these. The avocado oil is a great oil to use for tortillas!
I’ve been making these for year but never thought to use avocado oil. I loved the flavor it added. I typically add some chili powder to the oil and will do that next time. 5 stars for the avocado oil!
