Air Fryer Keto Garlic Cheese ‘Bread’

  4.4 – 25 reviews

A tasty alternative to a classic frosted carrot cake is this trifle. It’s a terrific dessert to assemble ahead of time because it tastes even better after some time has passed. If preferred, top with toasted pecans.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Servings: 2
Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  2. ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  3. 1 large egg
  4. ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Line the air fryer basket with a piece of parchment paper.
  2. Combine mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, and garlic powder in a bowl; mix until well combined. Press into a round circle on the parchment in the air fryer basket.
  3. Heat the air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Fry bread for 10 minutes. Remove. Serve garlic cheese bread warm, but not hot.

I’d say calling it bread is a stretch, but it certainly is tasty and super easy to make.

Made it just the way the recipe said and my husband and I loved it! Maybe next time I make it I’ll flip it over after about 6 minutes to brown it evenly.

I loved it!

This was so simple to make and tastes amazing!!! Whoever is not giving this five stars must not have followed the directions.

LOVE THIS! I don’t have an air fryer & didn’t want to turn oven on. Soooo… I simply popped mixture in little blobs into pan & spread out to flatten. Waiting till bubbling, then turned over to crisp other side. Removed to cool & added ham, cheese & spicy brown mustard for a delicious little hot ham & cheese sammich!

My experience also started with a fire. Unless you have one of those “toaster oven” looking air fryers, please do not used parchment paper. However, my second time around ended a but messy but sooooo good. Couldn’t even get a photo of it before the vultures attacked. Somehow, the texture was very bread-like. Be forewarned, I calculated this at about 210 cals per serving. Its pretty heavy. 1 – No parchment unless you have the “toaster oven” looking air fryers. 2 – The flatter you make it when you place into the air fryer, the more it will cook through and resemble bread better. 3 – Take a pic 1st, then tell everyone it is ready.

I used this as a pizza crust. It was fast easy, no oven required, and delicious! My favorite kind of recipe

I followed the recipe exactly and after 10 minutes I took the bread out and flipped it over and it was not fully cooked. So I cooked it for 10 more minutes for a total of 20 min in the air fryer. It was good, very cheesy! I will make this again but flip ask cook longer. I cut it like bread sticks! Very good!

I never thought I would say this about any dish but I found this to be a little too cheesy and rich for me. Mine was a deep dark brown when I checked on it after 6 minutes. I don’t know if that’s because I have an Air Fryer Oven. The bottom was not done so I could not flip it because it was still stuck to the parchment paper. I wound up turning down the temp to 275, cooked it for 2 more minutes and then I was able to flip it. I cooked the 2nd side for another 2 minutes.I liked it but I don’t think I will make it again.

I’ve made this like your recipe says and it’s great. We make it at least twice a week and everyone love it. We just Got our Foodi so that you for the recipe.

Flip it halfway in cooking for browning both sides. Good!

Well, my parchment paper caught on fire so I’m not sure that was the greatest idea! I ended up cooking it without afterwards, had to bump it up to 15 minutes. Flavor was pretty good, but my rating was due to the danger of it.

pretty easy and very tasty too

I added italian seasoning and used garlic salt instead of powder. Only because we are keto and need our salt!!

It tasted delicious but it got stuck on the parchment paper. will definitely make it soon

Made it as per recipe. The kids love it! Yummy!

Turned out great. Too much garlic for me so I’ll use less next time. Other than that it was great.

This is the first recipe I made in my new air fryer. Awesome: easy and delicious! I followed the recipe exactly as written. Fits beautifully with Keto and it is very bread like. As suggested by another reviewer, I will experiment with other shredded cheeses. Thank you very much for sharing.
