Reviews
I used to do brigadeiros for my children’s parties. They were a blast!!! Thank you for refreshing me with your recipe. I got it from a Brazilian friend in 1988
Outstanding! Decadent fudge balls, a cross between fudge and a truffle, with a softer bite. I would recommend using high quality bittersweet chocolate and LaLechera condensed milk for richest flavor. Tip: cook on med low setting (number 3), and stir constantly until entire mixture pulls away from pot. It looks like the beginning of a fond forming. Mixture should be thickened, and not runny, or balls will not form. We enjoy rolled in chocolate sprinkles or unsweetened cocoa powder. Also delicious using LaLechera Dulce de leche condensed milk, no chocolate. Roll in chopped peanuts! This recipe has become a tradition in our home for all special occasions, and gifts for hostess, teacher, etc!
