Ingredients

  1. 4 (12-fluid ounce) bottles lager beer, chilled (recommended: Heineken)
  2. 1 (25.4-fluid ounce) bottle sparkling apple cider, chilled

Instructions

  1. Slowly pour the beer into a 10-cup capacity pitcher and slowly add the sparkling cider.
  2. Pour the shandy into frosted glasses and serve immediately
  3. Cook’s Note: The ingredients can be divided and served in 2 smaller pitchers.

What was the guitarists name that helped with the Shandy? Is Signal Hill from LA. If so they have a wonderful Unwed Sailor kind of sound.

Simple but interesting recipe. Every one talks about using a good wine for cooking. I think I would use something a little better than Heineken for a good shandy though.
