Ingredients
- 2 pounds filet mignon steaks, about 1 1/2-inches thick
- Thirty 3-inch rosemary stems, leaves removed from bottom ends
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 5 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 small limes, juiced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup prepared horseradish
- 2 tablespoons spicy mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- For the tenderloin skewers: Cube the meat into 2-inch pieces and skewer with rosemary sprigs. Place in a shallow dish and set aside.

Excellent, simple recipe! I marinated for about 2 hours and beef melted in your mouth with a wonderful flavor. Didn’t try the sauce, but I will next time!
This is our families ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!
This is a delicious marinade that I’ve used not only for beef, but for chicken and pork as well. I added Rosemary to the marinade since I didn’t want to be bothered with the skewers. Have made with/without the horseradish/mustard cream. Just really delicious and the proportions of the recipe are spot on.
A BIG HIT! Making this again for New Years : )
Delicious! Made indoors on metal skewers and grill pan. Leftover mustard sauce is awesome on a roast beef sandwich
This is a fantastic recipe-the beef is so tender, and the sauce is delicious!
We prepared this for our Christmas Eve party and it was a hit. We served it without the sauce because we ran out of time. Next time we will make sure to take the time to work on the sauce.
Is there any other cut of meat you can use? At 18 dollars a pound they are rather expensive for an appetizer
Saw this show again today & plan on making it. Can’t help but think that Nancy Fuller needs to address FN poor editing. The marinade lists the brown sugar & olive oil ingredients twice each in the ingredient listing.
I made this for a get together with friends and it was a hit!!! Everyone loved it and wanted more. I will make this again for sure.
