Prep: 10 min
Yield: 16 egg halves

Ingredients

  1. 8 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  2. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  3. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  4. 3 tablespoons ranch dressing
  5. 3 tablespoons prepared BBQ sauce
  6. 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, putting the yolks in a medium bowl and the whites on a platter. (Cover the platter with rinsed, uncooked white beans if you want to keep the egg whites from slipping around.) Use a fork to mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, and ranch dressing. Place the yolk mixture into a sturdy resealable plastic bag, push into one corner, and cut off the tip to make a pastry bag. Pipe the yolk mixture into the whites. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the eggs using a squeeze bottle (or make another little pastry bag and cut out just a tiny tip for the sauce). Sprinkle with the green onions and serve.
  2. Cook’s Note: For perfect boiled eggs, place the eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Cover, turn off flame, and allow to sit undisturbed for 13 minutes. Rinse in cold water and peel.

Another easy and tasty recipe from Melissa. I made these a while ago for a football party and fashioned the barbecue sauce to look like laces of a football. They were a big hit! I now LOVE to put a touch of BBQ sauce on hard boiled eggs, yummy.

My family really enjoyed these. The barbeque sauce gives it the perfect zing.

Made this on 3/31/13….. This was really good….. Realized @ the last minute that I had no BBQ sauce so i put a dab of sriracha sauce ……. It worked wonderfully… Can’t wait to try again once I make BBQ sauce….. Think I will add bacon as well for crunch!

My family and friends loved this!! I changed it up just a bit, I thought bacon would great, So I baked and chopped up my own bacon and added a little bit more ranch. The BBQ sausce was a great touch to finish these off as well as the chopped bacon bits. I will make this over and over again!!

Very disappointed! My family loves deviled eggs so I thought I would these as an appetizer for Thanksgiving. They were very easy to make (hence the 2 stars but no one liked them. Not even my husband who will usually eat anything I make.

Awesome recipe! To make perfect eggs, use a 12 slot muffin pan to place each egg. Put in oven at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and place eggs in large bowl of ice water (have some ice cubes in the water just long enough to cool them down so you can peel them. The eggs will peel easier and they will actually taste better. This method is the best way to do a lot of eggs at one time and the eggs come out perfect every time!

Great recipe, a keeper ! For a change I did several kinds for an appetizer and these were my guests favorites!

These deviled eggs are terrific. My husband and friends loved them and were intrigued with the idea of topping the eggs with BBQ sauce and finely chopped scallions.

All of Melissa d’Arabian’s recipes that I’ve made were very good. I enjoy her $10 Dinner shows.

My family and friends love it.

Surprisingly good! I wasn’t sure after the negative reviews, but I’m glad I tried them. The BBQ sauce makes it. Without it, it’s just OK…
