BRING BACK 10 DOLLAR MEALS.
Yum! If it was too liquidly you either didn’t cool the bananas enough or need to add more ice-cream. Ours were perfect!
I followed the recipe exactly and my bananas were brown and yummy looking. The shake tasted like slightly banana flavored milk. Terrible!
I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear this show was canceled. Being one of the 99% this show was right up my alley. We loved the banana shakes!
Love this recipe. It is easy to remember and tasty!! People need to make sure that their bananas get caramelized well, otherwise you won’t get that sweet taste in your shake. You can tell from this episode that her bananas were pretty dark when she put them in the blender which means they got a lot of love on that pan with that yummy sugar and butter!!! make sure you do that people!
Love $10 dinners!

Yum! Thank you RBLA for posting the the correct Preparation method of this wonderful shake! Thank you Melissa for a great twist on a banana shake!
Not so great. The caramelized bananas added an odd sweet flavor to the shake which was unappetizing
I followed this recipe perfectly and came out with nothing better than an average shake. I had three teenagers crazy about banana shakes (whose favorite is Culver’s, and not one of them finished their “bland” shake. This is the first d’Arabian recipe that really didn’t impress a single person.
Here’s recipe for baking in oven that was on site earlier & how I watched it prepared on TV. I made it, yum! Add a pinch or so of cardamom for a bit of Aarti! I don’t know about the dispute about skillet/butter version vs. this oven version, but this oven one is perfect! You don’t need the butter.
