ehhhh…soo-soo..

Not one of the better food network desserts I’ve made. I’ve reviewed over 300 recipes now, and have come across a lot far, far better desseerts.

The flavor of this, I thought, just wasn’t all that impressive. Adding the pecans was a nice little touch. It was easy to make. But I don’t think this one is a keeper. (it also hardens very quickly and becomes too crispy as it cools…

Needs to be heavier spiced.Allspice,Cinnamon, and a smidge of Nutmeg. If You like these then mix a saucer w/sugar,not brown. If You like this flavour,You will have great results.Mince up the Pecans to adhere better pressing in and consider “rolling” with Spices.Puff Pastry is a blank canvas that takes anything up a notch.Vote if helped, please.

I made these to give in a basket for my daughters teachers and was very dissapointed in the apperance and taste of these. All you taste is the dough. Not impressed.

fast and tasty

These are very easy to make and quite yummy, although they are best right out of the oven. I cut them up much smaller, ending up with a lot more twists each about 3 in. long. They baked up faster than the recipe said, so keep your eye on them!
