Ingredients
- Four 6- to 7-ounce salmon fillets, skin-on
- 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives, plus additional for garnish
- Kosher salt and freshly ground white pepper
- Kosher salt and freshly ground white pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with a nonstick silicone liner, and lay the salmon, skin side down, on top. Set aside.
- Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, honey and chives in a medium bowl and stir to thoroughly combine. Reserve half of the sauce. Spoon the remaining sauce over the fish, spreading it evenly all over the top and sides of each fillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast just until the fish is opaque in the center, 7 minutes. Increase the oven to broil. Broil the fish for 6 to 7 minutes, but keep your eye on it to avoid overcooking. Garnish with chives and serve with the reserved sauce.

Such an easy and very tasteful recipe – the sauce is awesome. Love you Valerie, you never disappoint!!!!!
A beautiful and delicious recipe that is so easy and so good!
The sauce is absolutely delicious on the salmon and, in my opinion, it can be used over any protein. I followed earlier comments and made sure not to overcook the salmon. I think the sauce would be great over chicken, shrimp or even a skirt steak. Thanks Val!
Easy and very good. I thought the salmon was a bit overcooked. Will cut the time down when I make it again.
Mixed family reviews. Some loved it, others liked it – but approved by all. Would make half the sauce next time as that would be enough. Moist and flavorful. Super easy.
This definitely is my go salmon! I always double the sauce and I have added to the chives 1Tbsp each chopped tarragon, dill,&parsley just love this always add extra sauce when eating. And I think I love it just as much flaked &tossed with extra sauce COLD YES I SAID COLD. Makes a great salad o. Bread or top of crackers for a snack. MUST TRY
I love Salmon & I changed this up because I don’t like sweet sauces. I used Mayo, garlic, lemon vest & juice. I add whatever fresh herbs I have on hand tonight is dill & basil. The cooking method is so easy & the broil at the end puffs the mayo so delicious. Watch time depending on the thickness of your fish it could be less or more.
Nicely balanced flavors of the sauce compliment the salmon well. Salmon was moist and flavorful. Drizzling the remaining sauce on the plate provided a good presentation. Enjoyed by all!
Thank you Valerie! This is my new recipe for salmon. The salmon was moist and flaky with a sauce that put it over the top! I could eat it every day…
Simple and simpy delicous! Another great recipe of your’s in my rotation. Thanks Valerie.
