So easy and all I get is compliments on Aunt Mary’s baked beans!!! My only problem is now when we have a cook out I get called to make my beans. Thank you, Mary, Trisha, and Food network!!
Let me begin with I always get rave reviews on my bean recipe. It requires more work than this recipe; so I decided to try this recipe. I was happy with how quickly it went together. I was skeptical that my onions would be cooked to be soft and not crunchy but they were perfect. Only change I made was to add chopped garlic. Dinner guests gave these beans rave reviews.
All I can say is yum yum. Followed the recipe exactly as is and will definitely make again!
We followed the recipe – excellent. It was a little soupy, but better that than dry. Next time I would cut in half as it was a bit much for 2 people. I definitely will make this again.
I’m not a cook. I hate cooking. But I LOVE cooking this recipe. Very easy to make and smells so good cooking! I didn’t leave anything out. Perfect as is. Everyone loves my cooking when I make these!
Made them last weekend and my husband already asked for them again. Easy and delish.
Every time I make this recipe the family raves about it.
THE best baked beans I have ever eaten! And I thought I made a pretty good baked bean, but this is the best. 😉 Will be making a double batch to take to family picnic on the Fourth of July.
These beans were divine! Taking one star off because it was a tad too sweet according to my boyfriend. He said he would eat them again though.
Love this recipe!! Reminds me of my Mom’s beans!! Don’t get them anymore since she passed. Thank you so much! Delicious!!
