Excellent recipe. Whole family loved it.
Lot’s of compliments from the people at our 4th of July get-together. Will definitely make these again.
I made these for a July 4 party at our clubhouse for 80 people. Quadrupled the recipe using 2 – 117 oz. can from Sam’s and we ran out! Everyone wanted seconds. I have been asked to make them again for our pig roast next month and need to make 3 cans this time! They want leftover to take home!
Love this recipe! This is my go to baked beans recipe and I add 3 tablespoons of bourbon as well. Delicious!
Delicious. I used VanDeCamps pork and beans and not other beans that are already highly sweetened. It turned out great. I also used 3 tablespoons of mustard instead of just two.
Excellent! I make for most large gatherings and everyone wants the recipe. I put everything in the casserole dish first then add the fried and crumbled bacon and onions to the casserole. Doing it this way makes it easier to mix everything instead of adding everything to the skillet. I’ve made it a day in advance then baked the next day and was terrific.
Made exactly as stated, delicious! Can I have the beans prepared in the casserole dish but wait until the next day to bake?
Trust the 5 star reviews! Loved by family and friends…make just as written with no modifications. This recipe should be called Easy and Delicious Baked Beans
