Brazilian winter celebrations, which take place in June, are when canjica, a pudding-like delicacy, is most frequently offered. In Latin American or South American food stores, you can get either dried hominy or the authentic ingredient “Canjica de milho.”

This recipe turned out great! I accidentally used all the green onions I had on another recipe and didn’t have time to run to the store. I substituted a Lipton French onion soup packet and turned out great!
This is an absolutely decadent tarte. I would recommend to get the best camembert you can find. Also, a little goes a long way as it is pretty rich. Do not be fooled 1/10 or a serving of the pie is more than enough for . Have some crusty bread available if you wish to enjoy the melted cheese. It is a perfect appetizer to bring to a potluck with bread to enjoy. If you want to make it a first course a side of leafy greens goes well with it! Will make it again.
