My 6 year old grandson and I made these together. We had fun, and they turned out really good!

Just the right amount of spice.

I think its plenty spicy enough. Reminds me of a popular brand currently in stores.

I make these every year at Christmas time. Instead of just serving them out of the bag, I put them under the broiler for a couple minutes, tossing them a few times, to crisp them up. The family loves them!

Used thin mini pretzels. “Marinated” pretzels in oil/spice mixture overnight. Baked off about 20-30 minutes the next day at 250. Terrific spice blend. Will make often.

I used garlic powder instead of Garlic salt! Also used two bags of Rold Goldpretzels tiny twists. (Did not double the wet mix.) Also use a “Jumbo” Zip bag found at Dollar Tree in box of 5 for $1.00.

I have made this recipe many times . My brother-in-law doesn’t eat pretzels , until my sister made him try one of these . He ate nearly the whole gallon bag !!! I do change the recipe a little . I just use garlic instead of garlic salt , it’s to salty for us . After soaking for 45 min – 1 hr. I put them in a 9 x 12 pan and bake them at 220 for 30 min. stirring them at 15 min. Take them out and cool , then bag them in a gallon zip lock

Baked them in the oven as well. 250 for about 20-30 minutes. You can smell when they’re done. Be sure to mix the spices together before adding to the pretzel/oil mix. Great with beer cheese pretzel dip…..also found on this site!

We loved this recipe. I made it as described and both my husband and I liked it. I will be making this again and it’s so easy. Make sure you let it sit for a while as it needs time for the oil to absorb. Did not seem greasy at all.

My son loves this recipe. I love that it is easy and there is no cooking, just mixing. I will make this again. Very bold taste, little spicy but great flavor.

I make these quite a bit. Always a favorite. But I like to make them with a waffle shaped pretzel. The seasoning seems to coat better in all the corners.

The recipe is really good but I changed the garlic salt to garlic powder; it made a lot of difference and the lemon pepper and the cayenne pepper added the kick my family and friends enjoyed.

We found the spices too strong and hot. I remade the recipe and used, 1/4 tsp. cayenne, 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper, 1 tsp garlic, 1/2 cup oil, 1 Tablespoon dry Ranch-style dressing and 15 oz mini pretzels. It wasn’t as strong or greasy, but still had somewhat of a bite to it.

Great recipe. I used 1(16 oz) of dry ranch seasoning. I think the recipe may be a typo. 🙂

I made this several times when I planned events for our apartment complex. It was always hit. Lots of people would ask me for the recipe or ask me to make it for them!

I have altered this recipe somewhat. I cut up and dry thoroughly Carolina Reaper peppers which I then add to the oil about 2 weeks prior to preparing. I remove the peppers and just use the oil. I put crushed garlic in oil a couple of days prior instead of garlic salt. I add gardetto rye chips and the extra large cheese-its.
