These chicken nachos are tasty, simple to make, and guaranteed to be a hit! enough substance for a meal. The chicken topping, which also works well as a filler for tacos and quesadillas, contains the dish’s main characteristics. Although sour cream and guacamole are my top recommendations, feel free to get creative!

If you love soggy tortilla chips follow directions
Great base recipe, even better if you jazz it up with adding black beans, frozen corn and a little seasoning (like taco seasoning) to the chicken mixture. Speaking of chicken, I used plain rotisserie chicken, quick and easy! After you remove from oven and plate it, add toppings like fresh sliced jalapeno’s, cilantro, guacamole (store bought is fine), and sour cream. A squeeze of fresh lime juice after it’s plated really made it special too! With the tweaks, it was absolutely amazing, will make again and again!
I use white meat from a rotisserie chicken to make it easier. I also used cherry tomatoes and sliced up black pitted olives. We love this.
This recipe is worth every bit of 5 stars, it is delicious! Nachos, I don’t care if they are chicken or beef, are a blank slate, and begin with a great basic recipe such as this one, which establishes great flavors. Then it’s up to you and your family to customize with what you enjoy. Each of my family members customizes this basic recipe I make first as they like it and pop their version into the air fryer and, viola! I won’t bore you with our customizations. This recipe is a 5 star “go to” for us!
Loved this recipe! I added corn and refried beans, and taco seasoning to the chicken per other reviews. I also used canned chicken, which worked just fine. Delicious! Will definitely be making again.
I gave this recipe a slight twist. I added spinach, black olives, refried beans and assorted Mexican cheese.
This is my son’s absolute favorite dinner. So yummy!
This didn’t get 5 stars because the chips burned and the directions weren’t very clear so we had to add our own touches
Only made one change. Swapped out the olives for homemade pickled jalapeno peppers.
We love this recipe/method for shredding the chicken!
Yummy way to use leftover store bought rotisserie chicken. Very good recipe! Tip 1: use a sturdy dinner fork to shred chicken while it’s still cold (right out of the refrigerator) Tip 2: be careful when seasoning; store bought rotisserie chicken’s are normally already well-seasoned Thank you!
Simple, too simple for me, but that’s just the beginning, read the constructive reviews. I made a masterpiece from a good solid base.
Love it. Took several of the extra comments and tweaked it. We love making this, it is mostly the same when we do make it, but nothing is ever the same twice when we cook. That is what makes cooking sooooo fun.
it was very good, my husband and kids loved it as well as I. simple and easy to make , will be making it again.
Did veggie Nachos – I know lame but #delish
Dbray, get your own recipe and post it. This recipe was awesome, 5*s! It is a good starter recipe to be versatile also, allows you to add whatever you feel to it.
I really did not want to cook and then I made this. Except I made it into a layered dip instead of putting the chips in the oven. Good dinner with minimal prep.
Adding beans (refried or black), red pepper and taco seasoning, as suggested in other reviews helped make it great
I took suggestions from others — used taco seasoning, par-baked the chips, and it turned out really well.
Excellent!
They were just as good the next day when reheated in the toaster oven.
