Panko Fried Shrimp

Every summer, we always had this in our house. All of your visitors will inquire as to how it is made and request seconds and thirds.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  1. 2 large eggs, beaten
  2. 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  3. 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  4. 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  5. 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  6. 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine eggs and Sriracha in a bowl and beat with a fork until well combined. Coat shrimp in egg batter, a few shrimp at a time.
  2. Pour panko into a shallow dish and mix in Cajun seasoning. Dredge shrimp in panko mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a Dutch oven or cast iron skillet over medium heat until hot. Add shrimp in batches without overcrowding the pan.
  4. Cook shrimp until panko is golden brown and the meat is opaque, about 3 minutes, depending on the size.
