At Thanksgiving and Christmas, my grandmother usually prepared stuffed celery. Before the holiday feast, when we were youngsters, we would slyly sneak a slice of celery to sate our hunger. By the time it came time for dinner, it had almost all been consumed, and Grandma always made a big deal out of us. I never have a holiday meal without it now!

We all really liked this mixture. I didn’t have quite enough stuffed olives, so I supplemented with capers. Let the mix sit in the fridge overnight before adding on top of celery and carrot slices. Great starting base for other dips too!
I have never had these before today and I am in LOVE! They are so good I scaled it down just for a snack made a few but think this will be a new go to for potlucks and get togethers so easy and tasty!
Thank you for the recipe. It was something different than the usual chips and salsa. We loved the crunch of the celery.
I love this low carb recipe. I added bacon pieces to the recipe. It’s a winner!
I had a feeling this was going to be grand simply from the chopped olives. I have issues with garlic, so I cut back on it (used garlic powder as it was what I had on hand). As green olives are briny, I did not add any salt. I made up for it with the pepper. Made as directed minus the above provisions. This is divine. I will make, again. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
This is a staple at every single holiday dinner. My Mom’s family has been making it for decades. I’ve never added garlic, but will definitely do so going forward. Thanks for sharing!
Great spread for crackers or crusty bread too. If on bread top with slice of salami.
Followed the recipe. It was ok. Very strong so I had to spread it much thinner on the celery than the pic showed.
This is great. Easy to make, affordable, and with few ingredients.
No changes and yes will make again
Usually, the only way I like celery is if it’s cut really small in foods like chicken salad, egg salad, ect., but I really like it on celery with cream cheese or peanut butter!
I add a can of tuna. Love this recipe and find myself craving it!!
Next time would like to make with light cream cheese because so rich. Be sure to chop the olives finely or hard to spread on the celery.
This is three year running traditional appetizer at Christmas. I have to double the recipe every time!
Really easy and tasty. It makes up a LOT of dip. I think next time I’ll rinse the olives as another reviewer suggested as it was a tad salty.
I added pimento and finished off with finely chopped pecans sprinkled across the top.
Refreshing & super yummy! Awesome with wings and things, like Buffalo Chicken Pizza!
One of my family’s favorites! My
I have tried this recipe but I didn’t have the olives in my fridge or celery. So i just used carrots instead. Also I didn’t replace the olives. It was still amazing and my family loves it! I have to make this again! 🙂
Made these Christmas Eve morning and hubby and I loved them!! Easy to make! I was surprised at their taste as I don’t care for olives but I couldn’t even tell they were in it. Thanks for the recipe!! I’ll make these again!!
Great recipe! I just happened to have garlic stuffed olives on hand. It really made them tasty!
