Similar to sweet and sour chicken, but more spicier (thus the name), is firecracker chicken. The heat is reduced if you serve the chicken over rice after browning it to keep it soft and moist.

It turned out great
It looks great but the picture shows pepperoni on top so I’m confused. Do you add pepperoni and broil it at the end?
This was great! I think it’s also reminiscent of a meatball sub. We used toasted Italian bread for dipping. Overall, my family found it fun to share a pizza together in such a unique way. We plan to try this again changing out the meat for different pizza toppings to see how it turns out. I also feel like a softened 8oz block of Neufchatel cheese could work well mixed in. Thank you for the great recipe! It really was quick and easy to make.
Excellent! I was tempted to add things such as olives, bell pepper, and pepperoni but glad I didn’t. Perfect as written and leftover reheat nicely as well.
This was delicious! It was so simple, I expected to have to add more to it. I was wrong. Everyone (all 4 of us) gave it 5 stars. There was none left. I’d love to experiment with this, added pepperoni or other cheeses. But the base is solid. Great, different fondue to add to our rotation!
I made this for a fondue party and it was a hit. Barely had any left overs to bring home. I did put about half the meat the recipe asked for like one of the previous reviews mentioned to make it a little more dipable.
On a recent “all about me” page that my son brought home from school, this is what he listed as his favorite food! It is delicious and fun to eat. I do reduce the amount of ground beef used, as it can get almost too thick for dipping.
Kids loved it…..and so did the adults that stole a “taste”.
