  4.3 – 5 reviews

Puff pastry, cheese, and herbed cream cheese are all you need to make this, which is my go-to finger dish for every gathering.

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 30 mins
Servings: 24
Yield: 24 pinwheels

Ingredients

  1. ½ (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  2. 1 (8 ounce) container cream cheese with herbs
  3. 6 ounces sliced Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Dust a flat work surface lightly with flour. Unroll puff pastry and roll out to a rectangle. Spread a thin layer of herbed cream cheese over the puff pastry. Cover with Swiss cheese slices, leaving a 1-inch border. Roll puff pastry up tightly like a jelly roll.
  3. Slice puff pastry roll in 1/4-inch-thick slices and lay on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven on the center rack until lightly browned and puffed up, 15 to 20 minutes.

I liked this one, but not so much when I added a bit of ham.

Love making these cheesy wheels. One trick I have to cut them and it works like magic is wrap dental floss around and cut with it.

I added slices of honey ham and it turned out great. I will make it again.

Easy to make! Great taste! Love the gooey cheese! Love the creaminess of the puff pastry! Just ate it for New Year’s Day celebration. I’d give it 10 stars if I could! Thanks for the yummy recipe!

These were so easy to make and had a ton of flavor considering you used so little ingredients. I would definitely make these again. I do think they were better hot or slightly warm. Make sure you use a serrated knife to cut .
