Amazing.
no yust kept the same,… cook drumsticks a bit longer….!
my boys loved it so much I made it again on Friday night and Sunday too
I basted these in the oven, honey burned almost right away, ruined them
We wanted wings similar to Natives honey hot..we stumbled upon this recipe and it was amazing!! We used Red devil hot sauce, store brand honey (it was the only one on sale of course), and this recipe was a hit with the whole family!! Kids & all…we recommend basting the honey on the wings after you’ve cooked the wings as the recipe suggests (don’t skip this step), I followed the recipe exactly & these wings will now be made at home instead of paying Native New Yoker!! Thanks for sharing this recipe – make these you will not be disappointed
The wife loved them and so did I
I love hot food, so I was excited to try this, although the comment about adding more than 1 tsp cayenne pepper -if you can handle it- made me dubious. It takes a lot to impress me, and as far as heat, I tripled the cayenne pepper and this wasn’t hot at all. That said, it was fan-freaking-tastic. I love the sauce. Maybe next time I’ll use Dave’s Insanity Sauce to see if I can get any heat out of it.
Very good recipe. I used 1/2 the honey and that was enough 4 lbs of wings. Will definitely make again!
These are fantastic! I have followed the recipe verbatim and altered it, making different variations. I love them. For those of you that have given reviews and said that it was not hot (spicy) enough… all you have to do is get a hotter hot sauce! LOVE IT and will continue making it…. even exactly how written!
I made these in my Ninja Foodi, but I can’t wait to make them on the grill. The sauce was delicious, sweet and spicy.
Made them in air fryer and came out awesome. Sweet and Hot combination was perfect. Keeper recipe and very easy!
These are really good!! I will make these many times!!
The first time I made thee I realized I had purchased Frank’s hot wing sauce instead of Frank’s hot sauce. Rather than go back to the store and buy the correct hot sauce I thought I’d just use the wing sauce. They turned out really well. When I mentioned the error to my husband he said not to change a thing. I made a big batch of them today for him and his brother. They both raved about them. I should mention that after the first dipping in the sauce I did put them in the oven for a few minutes and then dipped them in the sauce again. Sweet, spicy and sticky. Yum!.
Yum
Absolutely loved this sauce. I doubled the recipe to have left overs. Thank you.
I made the recipe following it exactly; since the reviews were great. I thought it was ok, the flavors didn’t quite seem balanced and was bland despite the sweet heat. Also it was just too much butter for me. Glad I tried the recipe tho, I will try grilling wings again.
Amazing!!!!
These wings were good and tasty but I agree with a few of the reviewers on here. They could have had a bit more heat to them and that’s with me adding more cayenne than the recipe called for. Overall, still tasty and enjoyable.
Very good recipe. Simple yet tasty.
Very nice! I personally added a bit more paprika
Very tasty. I cooked and broiled in the oven. Everyone loved them and they were not too spicy. I used Cholula hot sauce, which is one of the milder hot sauces.
