The hidden ingredient in the best Easter ham, which most people might be surprised to learn, is horseradish, which gives it its acidic flavor.

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  1. 3 eggs
  2. ½ cup all-purpose flour
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  5. 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  6. ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  7. ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  8. 1 ½ pounds frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
  9. 1 serving cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 370 degrees F (188 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Whip eggs in a shallow bowl until lemon-colored and frothy. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a separate dish. Mix panko, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt together in a third bowl.
  3. Dip thawed ravioli in eggs and dredge in flour. Dip ravioli back into eggs and finally turn in panko mixture. Shake off excess breading. Place coated ravioli into the air fryer basket. Lightly spray ravioli with nonstick spray.
  4. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 8 minutes. Turn ravioli and increase temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Fry for an additional 2 minutes.

Good appetizer. Air fryer makes a smaller batch than a deep fryer so you may need to manage batches.

I made it in my 2 1/2 qt Air fryer. Followed directions as written. Only could put 3 raviolis at a time in fryer. Preheated as specified but only 5 min. On each side. Turned out toasty and yummy. Will make again.
