Jalapeno lovers should try this recipe!

Prep Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 10 mins
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  1. 1 (15 ounce) jar salsa
  2. 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  3. 1 cup shredded lettuce
  4. 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine salsa and cream cheese in a bowl; beat with an electric mixer until almost completely blended. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  2. Layer cream cheese mixture with 1/2 of the lettuce and 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese. Repeat layers once more.
  3. I really like the salsa verde with corn and beans that is sold at Target.
  4. Sometimes I have added 1/2 a package of taco seasoning to the mix or used taco-seasoned cheese, however, it’s not that noticeable and I think it tastes better without it.

The cream cheese and salsa dip has been around for years but this version bumps it up a notch and is far superior than the others. The lettuce adds nice texture and the added cheese is a nice touch. Not the prettiest to look at but the taste will have everyone coming back for more. It’s super simple to whip up too so that is always a bonus.
