A wonderful dessert! This dish can be made using figs or dates, and if you’d like, Marsala wine can be used in place of the orange liqueur. It takes 15 minutes to prepare. The American Diabetes Association provided access to The WEBB Cooks, a collection of Robyn Webb’s writings and recipes.

This was good, but the next time I will add more olive oil. I served it on fresh French bread, but I think it would be better to toast it.
I’ve been making this app for a dinner club for several years now. It is, by far my most requested dish.
Loved this! We mixed the leftovers with hot pasta – yum!
Delicious and easy. I don’t think the rosemary is necessary – didn’t add much. All of the other ingredients pack a punch!
This is great! Since goat cheese is hard to cut (like others noted), I cut it up into cubes (like another suggested). I put everything in a bowl with a bit of minced garlic and gently mixed. I put it the the frig over night for the next night. Served with French bread and used cute spoons to serve. There were no left overs! Good thing I save a little for us. Will make this over and over again.
This appetizer really is the Best Ever!!!
Guests raved for sure about this. But after I drizzled balsamic vinegar glaze over it right before serving. First time I made it, it was a bit dry, as goat cheese will be.
Excellent and easy.
I wish I could add another star, it’s that good! Made one little change because I had less than 30 minutes to make this and leave the house….I used garlic powder instead of marinating the cheese with the garlic cloves. I also used kalamatas instead of regular blacks. Unbelievably rich deep flavors that all hold their own. I used a sliced crusty baguette for my base and book club pretty much wiped out the platter. All were referred to AR for the recipe. The little bit I have left over (I doubled the recipe) is going on pasta tonight for dinner. LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe!!
This is yummy, great flavors.
This really is the Best Ever Party Appetizer! I brought this to a potluck and everybody was worried they weren’t going to have room for dinner! (It really was that good!) Next time I won’t drain the dried tomatoes quite so dry. And I did use a machine to to chop the rosemary, and it came out more like ground. It seemed to work okay, though. I appreciated the video. It took away the first-time recipe jitters.
This was a hit! I added fried and very crunchy bacon I cut up in very small pieces on the very top. I had trouble pulling the garlic cloves out.(ended up having to dig them out) Will definately make this again with the bacon.
Very easy to make and has such amazing flavor.
Took this to a Christmas Party and it was a big hit. As simple as this is the flavor is wonderful. Will definitely make this again as is.
This was scrumptious!
No changes were made. This was so tasty! Everyone enjoyed it!
Delicious! I had a little extra and put it on grilled chicken the next night, so yummy!!
I cut the goat cheese in smaller pieces. I bought 3 …3oz. pieces and I cut each 3 oz piece into 12 pieces and then placed all in bowl and marinated for 8 hrs. I then took the goat cheese out first and spread all else on top…delicious…everyone loved it!!!!
This is awesome. Always get great reviews from company. I put all ingredients in food processor and then top with cut basil.
This was a huge hit on New Year’s Eve. Made it a day ahead, exactly to specs; the flavors melded beautifully.
it is so easy to prepare and everybody adored it. didn’t have any leftovers of it!
