Apple Dip

I called my nanny and asked for her recipe for the apple dip I used to love as a youngster since I was wanting it. I was overcome with pleasant memories of my childhood the moment I tasted it. Enjoy with apple slices for a caramel-like flavor!

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  1. 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  2. ½ cup brown sugar
  3. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Stir cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together until sugar has dissolved and mixture is smooth.
  2. Be creative: You can add peanut butter, nuts or chocolate sauce, or try using strawberry flavored cream cheese.

I liked the apple dip. It comes together quickly. I used a hand held mixer to combine the ingredients because a spoon didn’t cut it. Next time I will add cinnamon as a garnish.

Super Easy and Sweet Snack! I paired this sweet snack with green apples for flavor and color. Additionally, I used pure vanilla from Mexico. After mixing and mixing with a spoon I eventually used the hand blender with the whisk attachment to smooth out and blend the cream cheese more. This would be great with a few dashes of cinnamon and a bit of chopped pistachios. I would also recommend ¼ cup brown sugar vs. ½.

This is so good! I can eat this by the spoonful. Delicious recipe with ingredients I always have on hand. I used Neufchâtel cheese (which is the lite version of cream cheese). Will make this often. Thanks for the recipe.

My daughter and I had fun making this delicious dip. It was super quick and easy. We love it with apple slices, graham crakers, and animal cookies.

This is quite good as a fruit dip, but I also can see this spread on a morning bagel or English muffin. Only 3 ingredients and packed with flavor, delish! Garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

So simple and delicious! I added some peanut butter and am on my second batch. We ate it with apples, but my daughter wants to start adding it as a dollop on oatmeal – Yum!

I love this recipe! I did add one thing to it to make it more sweet. I added Apple sauce. It was a hit with The whole family! If you use Apple crisp apples, they don’t brown very much at all. And they are much sweeter than most apples, minus the Granny Smith ones. Definitely try this recipe!

Great compliments every time I make it! Easy and quick. (Do remember to let the cream cheese soften for awhile first). Made with ingredients I always have on hand. Have taken it to numerous get-togethers. It’s gone in a flash!
