I’ve been exploring different uses for the Peppadew peppers and all the hints here are good, I discovered a new way recently by mistake. While ZI was working on some of my ideas I noticed in the refrigerator that my wife had some ‘butter creme frosting’ left over from topping some carrot muffins. I piped some into my peppers and fell in love.  I will make the same creme again, but I will cut some of the powdered sugar so as not to be quite as sweet. They are so easy to make.

I agree with all other evals.
Flavor and textures…visually a small size and attention getter at a party.
Info…in CA…you find these small peppers in some stores in jars AND in other stores in their deli section…where open containers of various olives, etc. are displayed and consumers fill small clear containers.
…secondly, peppadews are marketed as sweet and hot. Try both types and decide which you enjoy the most.

I made these for a girls night dinner party when the guests were asked to bring an app. Everyone thought i had brought stuffed cherry tomatoes (i’m a gardener. They were surprized to discover the peppers. They LOVED it!

You often hear that simple food is the most delicious, and in this case that is the truth! Super quick to make and everyone will love them! Peppers have a zippy bite from being pickled in vinegar and the cheese mellows that bite out. Great flavor balance. Give em’ a shot. They seem boring by reading the recipe but I assure you they are not!

My daughter & I shared these at a restaurant and loved them. Came straight home to look for a recipe. Had never heard of these peppers until that day. Easy, tasty recipe that makes for a great appetizer.

I had these at a restaurant and they were addicting! I use plain goat cheese, add a little honey to the cheese and sprinkle with chopped basil instead of chives. So yummy!

We were blown away with the great taste never had anything like it, recommend it to everyone to try the peppers. I know the next time we visit we will order them again.

Great appetizers! Try adding a roasted nut to the top. Also good stuffed with Feta, or pimento cheese dip.( Kroger has a Black Diamond Pimento Dip that I use. For those not familiar with the Peppadew, it is crisp and sweet with a slight “bite”. Originally from South Africa. They are found in the Mediterranean olive bar of your grocery store.

There are a delicious and easy appetizer. Using cream cheese is equally delicious. Peppadews in my grocery store were located next to the bulk olives (marinating in oil).

I came up with this idea independently when I first tried peppadews, but I place mine on a foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet and grill them under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is warm and bubbly, and the peppers get a slight char. Great served warm, but still delicious at room temperature.
