I love this recipe!! Make it every year.

This is what I make with the unsliced portion of a spiral ham. Just trim the skin off.
I substitute siracha for the Tabasco and horseradish for the dry mustard for a
much more complex flavor.

Just made this recipe for our lunch. Totally delicious. Added a touch more homemade hot sauce to taste. Great in sandwiches and will likely have it on crackers in the future (less bread and more crunch).

Used Kitchenaid grinder attachment for a perfect, consistent texture. Decreased Tabasco to 1T. Adds just a touch of heat. Other than that, perfect mix of flavors -as is. If you are using a lazed ham, you may want to cut the maple syrup by about half.

Way too much mustard and too much Worcestershire, onion and maple syrup. Overall, even with reducing these things, I’m still not sure I’d like it.

I really loved this. Was delicious! I didn’t have any hot sauce on hand and just used extra fresh cracked black pepper. This was so gosh darn tasty!

This is the best deviled ham recipe I had ever tasted!

Needs more ham, use American mustard.

Just finished off my first batch and will make it agin. I cut fat by putting in only 2 tbsp of mayo and backfilling the rest with nonfat greek yogurt. I didn’t want it too sweet so just added 1 tbsp of the maple syrup rather than 3. And I would leave out the salt next time (the ham is salty enough). It seems like a pretty flexible recipe so just spice it up as you wish.

good, but i’d agree with many others here that the seasoning was a bit much. i ended up adding about another half-pound of ham to stretch out the seasonings, then it was quite good. also added some chopped green olive at the end, that made it even better. if i make it again i’d cut way back on the mustard, as it asserted itself too much.
