I used unsweetened cranberry juice and I thought it was just right! Some of us like it tart. Not everybody is a wimp!

This is a wonderful summer cocktail. I made this for a family get together and everyone raved about it. I followed the directions exactly for the drink but used fresh limes. The little squeeze of lime juice just finishes it off. Thanks Ina for a perfect refreshment!

My wife suggested a flavored vodka. The drink recipe is fantastic as is. We selected a peach vodka for a second round…… It is off the hook! A must try for all who tried this recipe. Shout out to LORI JORDAN for suggesting the flavor!

This is a very good, light breeze! Most recipes I have used prior have been a 1-1-1 ratio and were potent – this one was much better as an afternoon or picnic drink.

My one suggestion/addition: Freeze the grapefruit juice you are going to use in ice cube trays and then make a pitcher ahead of time – it stays frosty cold and doesn’t dilute!

This was very good and refreshing. I do want to stress that you have to use Cranberry Juice Cocktail and good grapefruit juice. My husband first bought Cranberry juice sweetened with apple juice since he did not like all the sugar that is added to cranberry juice cocktail . However, it makes the drink too tart and you taste the vodka and tartness of the cranberry juice. I ended up adding lime juice and simple syrup to this batch to save it. The next batch we used the correct ingredients and it was even better.

If you enjoy cosmos, you’ll enjoy this drink. This is a light fruity cocktail and not tart at all. Had little reservations about the grapefruit juice (not a huge fan), but you couldn’t even taste it, just added to the lightness of the drink.

Enjoy!
