Pork Tenderloin with Honey Plum Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 8 Granny Smith apples, 1/4-inch slices
  2. 1 (1 1/2-pound) pork tenderloin
  3. 1 bottle Honey Plum Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the apples on the bottom of a 13 by 9-inch glass baking dish. Place pork tenderloin on top of apples. Pour about 1/2 cup of plum sauce over pork and apples. Cook until pork reaches an internal temperature of 125 degrees F. Pour on more sauce, about 1/2 cup, and cook until internal temperature is 135 degrees F. Remember that meat continues to cook after you remove it from the oven.

Something seems to have been left out of this Rx. It should have a stronger Garlic?Plum flavor. So I gave it one, then it was great.

Rx’s are just a path you don’t always have to follow where it leads.

A previous reviewer complained about the Honey Plum Sauce. BE CREATIVE!! Buy Plum Sauce in the Chinese Food section of the market, then add honey.
