NOT. A. RECIPE. Ugh Sandra Lee NEVER comes up with actual recipes. She shouldn’t have been on Food Network in the first place! And this recipe shouldn’t be ON this app!
Store bought cake with store bought frosting, you don’t even need a recipe for this. Why does Foodnetwork insist on paying “chefs” who don’t actually cook anything?
I made this for a wedding shower last week and I want to say that it is FRUSTRATING when what you make comes out looking NOTHING like the photo!!!! It looked like one of those plain white cakes in the store that is waiting to be written on when the customer orders it (but messier). I decorated it and put a ribbon on it but took it off because it looked silly. Tastewise, I have no idea whether it tasted good because no one wanted any since they were all on Atkins.
Doesn’t look anything like pictured. This is NOT a fancy cake — it’s just a store bought cake with canned frosting. Make a better tasting cake and wrap some ribbon around it instead.
its a nice cake to show how mothers luv cares
This is beautiful!
This is nice for any special occasion. It’s very special looking and tastes good. So don’t wait ’till Mother’s Day!
art 🙂
Didn’t taste good at all. I woulnd’t mind the appearance if it tasted good but it doesn’t.
and asked me to make it for a party at work because I happen to be the resident cake deorator in our office. I told her I would give it a shot. It turned out awful. Trying to get the ends to stick together was almost impossible. I had to use tons of skewers to get it to work. The shape didn’t even resemble a bonnet but more like a volcano. It was messy and ugly. NOt to mention that it tasted very bad too. A big disappointment and waste of time
