Ingredients
- 3 cups fancy or medium amber Vermont maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Boil syrup to 234 degrees. Cool quickly. Stir until syrup starts to lighten and thicken. Add nuts. Pour into a buttered 8-inch by 8-inch pan.

Walnuts with Maple Butternut Fudge? my grandmother had the real thing for her maple fudge. she had butternut trees and put the whole pieces of butternuts on top of her fudge. she lived in northern NH, where I live now! I am sure the walnuts are okay if you don’t have the butternuts.
