- 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crisp (in the microwave or skillet)

Transfer omelet to a baking sheet and place in a warm oven while you prepare second omelet.

Omelet was okay, I personally like cooked veggies in my omelets. But what alarmed me was her talking about garlic infused oil with the garlic still in it and storing it next to her stove. Storing garlic in oil at room temperature creates Botulism. You can only buy commercially made garlic oil as they took the steps to make it safe. Research before making it yourself for the proper and safe way. (Sorry for the lecture, just saw the show and was worried!)
Not everyone knows how to make an omelet, lol! And WHY would ANYONE not crack an egg? I’m just so confused on how you would make an egg without cracking it, or WHY you would think that eating an eggshell is normal? Wow…
Tried omelet recipe but halved the receipe. It turned out great and will cook it again soon.
We were fools for this tasty loaded omelet!
My family enjoyed having choices to put on their omelets. Even the child that dosn’t like eggs tried this one. Further more, to didn’t work and what?? Ha, ha, aren’t you the funny ones…..my suggestion to you is to watch other shows. This is a show for busy young mothers, which neither of you obviously are. Since many schools have done away with home ec, there are many young women out there who don’t know how to make an omelet, or much of anything else either without shows like this one…….really, you both ought to get a life!
This is the way I make omelets so I can’t find fault with the recipe. I use slightly diifferent ingredients for the filling and add half and half insted of milk. The instructions are good esp for an inexperienced cook. My ten year old granddaughter is as adept as most children but flipping an omelet does take some practice; like anyone else she knows to crack eggs! Simple recipes are not by nature BAD recipes.
I tried whisking together the eggs, but the shells broke when I did that. Is that how it’s supposed to be? I thought the omelets were a little crunchy like that, but the recipe didn’t say to leave out the eggshells.
I just cannot believe that anybody would actually require a recipe on how to make an omelet. My seven year old twins can do that, for goodness sake! How in the world do these people get shows on Food Network? I am personally insulted that FN thinks the audience consists of a bunch of idiots who don’t know how to boil water. What arrogant, condescending a-holes!
Uncooked veggies in an omelette? I don’t need a recipe for that. I give Robin points for chutzpah, but that’s about it.
Watched Robin and she made it seem so easy – decided to try it on New Years morning. The omelets were delicious !! And I am not an egg eater !! Didn’t use the exact same ingredients but the omelet part was
the same. My family enjoyed as well !!
Wonderful Robin !!
